Question: What is Get Right Results (GRR)?

Answer: Get Right Results is an online Health & Fitness website that provides you with a specific Workout plan and/or Meal plan that caters to your specific goals. Our tutorial videos and 1 on 1 sessions with a certified personal trainer, nutritionist, and chef are all available from your smartphone or computer for 24/7 access!

Question: What are sets and reps?

Answer: Sets are the amount of times you will repeat a group of exercises between rest periods.  Reps – short for repetitions, are the number of times you perform each given exercise in your workout. Example: 5 sets of 15 reps = you will perform 15 reps of each exercise than rest. Repeat for a total of 5 times.

Question: Do I need to spend hours in the gym to get the results I’m looking for?

Answer: Absolutely NOT! A specific Workout & Nutrition plan designed specifically for you will bring the desired results when followed properly. Your intensity of your workout will dictate your results. 

Question: How can I workout without having equipment or belong to a gym?

Answer: There are so many body weight exercises you can do in the comfort of your own home and our staff will gladly put together a program based on your needs! 

Question: I have no time, how can I incorporate exercise into my already busy schedule?

Answer: Your health is our top priority and your exercise routine will be catered specifically to your schedule. 20-60 minutes is all you need to make progress.

Question: Is cardio bad for me?

Answer: Absolutely NOT! Cardio is more of an endurance based workout that increases your cardio-vascular system. When used properly, cardio is a great way to accomplish your goals. We will teach you the proper way to perform cardio driven exercise. 

Question: Am I too old to exercise?

Answer: No one is too old to enjoy the benefits of regular physical activity. Exercise is actually one of the most important pieces to keep older adults mentally & physically stimulated for a better quality of life.

Question: I’ve never exercised before and have no idea what I’m doing. Where do I start?

Answer: Here at Get Right Results it is our mission to help you every step of the way on your fitness journey. Our team of Trainers & Nutritionists will guide you in exactly what you need to do and give you the knowledge you need to progress each week for long term success.

Question: How long will it take for me to reach my goals? 

Answer: The more effort and dedication you put in = the greater your results will be! We will supply you with all the tools needed to succeed but it’s up to you to make them happen!

Question: I’m really nervous going into a gym, how do I get over this fear?

Answer: At 1st, you can workout at home until your confidence grows. Or you can workout with a partner – this will not only make you more comfortable but will also push you to work harder as well. Lastly, everyone that belongs to a gym is there for 1 reason: to better themselves. Always keep that in mind and stay focused on what YOU are doing. You will gradually get more comfortable as time goes on. 

Question: Do I have to change my entire life to exercise? 

Answer: No Way! Incorporating health & fitness into your life will be the best decision you can ever make, it needs to fit into the life you want to live. You dictate how you want that life to look! 

Question: What time of day is best to workout?

Answer: Although working out during the morning hours has great benefits for you, working out at any other time during the day does as well. It comes down to scheduling. You need to workout when you have the proper time to do so.

Question: Do I need to work out every day?

Answer: No you don’t. Your body needs to recover from strenuous activity at least 1 day per week. With that being said, staying active in your life every single day will provide great benefits to your overall physical and mental state of being. It doesn’t have to be a workout, it can be gardening, yard work, a family bike ride, or hiking to mention a few. The more active you are = the healthier you will become inside and out. 

Question: Do I need to take supplements?

Answer: No. Supplements are used to take the place of a meal when time doesn’t allow you to physically eat. Here at Get Right Results we will give you the exact nutritional plan to fit your needs to make sure supplements aren’t necessary. If you physically don’t have time to eat, then a supplement can help fill that void to keep you on track. 

Question: How do I know what amount of weight to use when weight training?

Answer: A rule of thumb is to be able to keep the correct form through all the repetitions performed while being challenged at the same time. Only you can find that sweet spot over time and practice.

Question: What is the fastest way to reach my Fitness Goals?

Answer: Hard work, dedication and taking 1 step at a time. This is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Longevity is the key to your success.

Question: What is a Calorie?

Answer: A Calorie is a unit of energy that’s measured in each of the foods / drinks we consume. Our body needs a certain number of calories to survive. Consuming the proper amount each day is optimal to live a healthy lifestyle.

Question: Do I need to count my calories? 

Answer: No. But you do need to have an understanding of how many calories you consume and how many calories you burn each day to make sure you are moving towards your goals instead of moving away from your goals.

Question: Can I eat carbs and still lose weight?

Answer: Absolutely! Your body needs Carbs to use as energy throughout your day. Having the right balance and the right  type of carbs are key to your nutritional success. Our nutritionists will provide you with an exact program that fits your needs.

Question: Do I have to go on a diet to lose weight?

Answer: No Way! Diets are temporary and aren’t built for longevity. Our Nutritionists will have an exact blueprint to follow which will teach and show you how to select your meals properly each day through our programs. 

Question: Do I eat before or after a workout?

Answer: Both. Before your workout you want to eat something small to give you energy to perform at full strength. After your workout, you need to eat to repair the muscle tissue you just worked on.

Question: I don’t know how to cook, what do I do?

Answer: Our nutritionists provide you with exact recipes with pictures and even a shopping list to make it as easy as possible for you. If you need more than that, sign up for a 1 on 1 session with one of our nutritionists and they will help you with any questions you have.

Question: Do I need to take vitamins? 

Answer: Consult with your physician 1st before taking any supplement. A multi-vitamin is plenty to give your body to fulfill the missing nutrients you can’t get from food alone. Consult with your physician 1st. 

Question: How do I lose weight? 

Answer: Consume less calories than you burn off per day. Following our Fitness & Nutritional programs will be your exact blueprint on how to accomplish losing weight the safe and healthy way for long term success. 

Question: How do I gain HEALTHY weight? 

Answer: Consume more calories than you burn per day. Consuming a higher protein & carb focused diet will allow your body to gain weight the healthy way in building more muscle, not gaining fat. Our Nutritionists will assign an exact blueprint on how to do this safely and successfully.

Question: Can I eat whatever I want and just work out harder? 

Answer: To live the healthiest and to function at your peak performance having a balanced Nutrition & Fitness regimen work hand in hand. The cleaner and healthier you eat, the less physical activity is needed to maintain that peak state. Not the other way around. Eating poorly will cause your body to breakdown and will lead to serious health problems in the future.

Question: How much water should I drink per day? 

Answer: 5 normal size bottles of water per day is a great start. Which is a ½ gallon per day. Spread them out throughout your day to make it easier. As your training grows more intense and more strenuous, you’re going to want to drink up to 1 gallon per day. 

Question: Can I eat dessert and still reach my goals? 

Answer: YES! Enjoying the food you love is good for your mind, your body and your soul. Having one of your favorite treats now and then will not deter you from reaching your goals. Moderation is key, live a little bit but at the same time remain disciplined.

Question: How do I get my children to eat healthier? 

Answer: 1. Start them slow with different healthier options. Make it fun by adding peanut butter to dip fruit into or a veggie dip to put on vegetables. 2. Lead by example. If they see you eating healthier they will be more open to trying new things. 3. Explaining the importance of eating well is key so they understand the benefits they gain from it.

Question: Do I have to drink protein shakes or meal replacements? 

Answer: Protein shakes are a great supplement when you physically don’t have the time to eat a real meal. The best thing for you is to eat all your meals every single day. On those days where you run out of time and need a quick healthy option, drinking a meal replacement / protein shake or even eating a bar of that nature is a great way to stay on track. But remember, eating all your meals is the best way to be successful.

Question: Is nutrition that important? 

Answer: Try driving a car without an engine. The food you consume is the energy source of how your body and mind function each day. Learning and practicing eating properly is the most important thing you can do to ensure a happy and healthy lifestyle.
